Anatomy, Physiology, Pathology, Kinesiology 1

Students will learn the names, placement and function of the bones in the human body. Mechanisms of health and disease will be taught as well as pathology of the integumentary system, muscular and nervous systems. Students will begin to palpate muscles.

Students are required to purchase the following books: Mosby's Essential Health Sciences for Therapeutic Massage, 3rd Edition and The Trail Guide to the Body, 3rd Edition by Andrew Biel (Book has a red cover). Students will need to purchase book prior to the first class.
